Our client is a fast growing HFT trading firm, e are looking for a Business Development Manager to build and scale strategic broker and exchange partnerships across India and the US. This is a high-impact, founder-facing role focused on building, managing, and optimizing broker relationships across India and the US. You will work directly with leadership to drive key business decisions related to broker onboarding, commercial negotiations, regulatory alignment, and long-term partnership management.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the Indian and US brokerage ecosystems, strong regulatory awareness, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across trading, compliance, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with brokers, clearing members, and exchange partners across India and the US.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between brokers and internal trading, technology, and operations teams.
  • Drive long-term partnership strategy to ensure optimal trading infrastructure, cost efficiency, and execution quality.
  • Lead end-to-end broker onboarding processes across geographies.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, fee structures, and service-level arrangements.
  • Identify and evaluate new broker partnerships aligned with trading strategy and expansion plans.
  • Ensure partnerships align with SEBI, SEC, FINRA, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights into brokerage ecosystems in India and the US.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–6+ years of experience in business development, broker relationship management, or financial markets partnerships.
  • Proven experience working within both Indian and US brokerage ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Indian exchanges and broker infrastructure (NSE, BSE, MCX, clearing corporations, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of US market structure and broker-dealer ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with SEBI, SEC, FINRA regulations and cross-border compliance considerations.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment.
