About the Client
Our client is a leading global financial services firm with a strong presence across investment banking, sales & trading, investment management, and wealth management. The role is part of global equity team, supporting revenue-generating Sales & Trading teams through robust quantitative and technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build, package, and automate the release of C++ valuation models for equity derivatives.
- Develop tools to analyze large-scale test results, identify number differences, and trace them to originating changes.
- Improve and automate testing, integration, and release workflows.
- Review overnight test results and coordinate with model authors on impact, risk, and expected changes.
- Manage library builds, packaging, and integration with downstream systems.
- Investigate and resolve model output differences and prepare release summaries for senior management sign-off.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in a computing-related field.
- Minimum 1 year of software development experience in Python or a similar language.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux command line tools such as bash, awk, and sed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, team-oriented environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
