Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain the firm’s core data and trading infrastructure. You will design scalable systems for data ingestion, storage, and processing, supporting research, back testing, and live trading.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage real-time and historical data pipelines for crypto markets.
- Optimize time-series databases and cloud-based compute environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Build internal APIs and tools for research teams.
- Design CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with researchers to deploy trading models and automate infra processes.
Requirements
- 2–5 years’ experience in data engineering, backend, or infra roles in trading, fintech, or similar domains.
- Strong in Python, SQL, and familiar with Kafka, Airflow, or Spark.
- Good understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
- Experience with exchange APIs (WebSocket, REST, FIX) and time-series databases (ClickHouse, InfluxDB, PostgreSQL).
- Exposure to cloud platforms and automation frameworks.
