Position: Global Stewardship Team
The Global Stewardship will support the firm’s proxy voting and corporate governance efforts by conducting in-depth analysis of portfolio companies, with a strong emphasis on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the firm’s stewardship objectives and voting policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed proxy voting analysis and ensure accurate execution.
- Implement and monitor compliance with established voting policies.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on governance-related matters.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and maintain voting documentation.
- Manage operational tasks related to the proxy voting lifecycle.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of global corporate governance and proxy regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to research and interpret ESG-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Law, or related disciplines. Advanced credentials such as MBA, CFA, or governance certifications are advantageous.
- Prior experience in proxy voting, ESG analysis, or corporate governance within the asset management industry.
- Proficiency in proxy voting platforms and tools such as ISS, Glass Lewis, or equivalent.
