IT Operations – HFT
Our client is an Algo Trading firm trading in HFT, MFT and Crypto space. As they are growing, they are hiring IT Operations role to support the Infra and Trading teams.
The IT operations role will be responsible for managing IT operations and leading a technical support team. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network security and stability, managing system backups, and developing IT policies and procedures.
Role and Responsibility:
- Manage L1/L2 Network
- Manage NSE Colocation Servers
- Manage network devices, including routers, switches, domains and firewalls.
- Installation and maintenance of System Trading Software(NEAT,NEATPLUS, Greek,
- Symphony and In-house software)
- Configuring and Maintaining of V-SAT, MPLS, Point 2 Point Lease Line and ILL
- Manage firewalls for site-to-site VPNs , other security rules and ensure connectivity
- Support of Shilpi Back o ce server
- Expertise in server and network monitoring tool like PRTG
- Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2-6 years of relevant experience working with algo trading firm and supporting networking, colocations, L2/L3 support and admin.
- Strong technical support and information technology skills
- Proven track record of managing IT operations
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Expertise in creating and implementing IT policies and procedures
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Experience with network security and stability
- Experience with storage, virtualization and database management system technologies
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, servers, and desktop applications
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or CCNA are a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
