One of our clients is one of the leading asset management firm with presence across the globe. As they expand, they are looking to hire VP – AML Screening for Mumbai location with strong people management experience in Screening Politically Exposed Person, Negative News, and managing alerts.
Shift Timings: 3 PM – 12 AM
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the AML Screening team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of investor transactions, including fund subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients on AML Screening matters, addressing inquiries, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Ensure AML Screening processes comply with all relevant regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements, maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the firm’s financial crime framework.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and improve investor experience and service quality.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations on AML Screening operations to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, risks, and areas requiring attention.
Required:
- Master’s Degree / MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- ACAMS certification preferred..
- 15+ years of experience in AML/KYC Screening within a regulated financial services firm, fund administration environment, or a similar operational role in the financial services industry.
- Minimum of 4 years in a leadership or management role, with proven experience in leading teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Strong and up-to-date knowledge of global AML regulations, industry standards, and best practices across key jurisdictions.
