Our client, a leading global services firm with a prominent presence in investment banking and wealth management, is seeking an experienced AML Senior Manager for its Fund Services division in Mumbai. The AML Senior Manager will act as the primary contact for all AML-related matters, ensuring strict adherence to anti-money laundering regulations and internal policies.
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid, 4 days in office)
Hours: Mon–Fri, 12 PM – 9 PM IST (with evening calls for US/EMEA)

About the role
We’re hiring a Vice President to join our Investment Management Audit team and oversee the First Line of Defence (FLoD) function in India. This role combines hands-on audit execution with leadership responsibilities, providing assurance across front-, middle-, and back-office operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead audits, monitoring, and closure verification activities.
- Identify and assess risks to prioritise audit coverage.
- Present audit observations and risk insights to stakeholders.
- Manage, coach, and align the Mumbai FLoD audit team with regional needs.
- Use data analytics to enhance audit focus and decision-making.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years in internal audit, risk, compliance, or investment management.
- Strong knowledge of financial services, markets, and regulations.
- Expertise in audit methodology, risk assessment, testing, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Experience using data for risk and audit insights.
